You could probably find a mcjob somewhere. Or you could sign up with temp agencies. Here's a list of current job openings in the Bay Area. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/jjj/ PS--Don't call it Frisco.
Answer 2 :
No way to find a job, even minimal salary part-time job 1 for 10 applicants, you must be cute then may get a job
Answer 3 :
Depends on how much you can hustle. Theirs a bunch of jobs on craigslist. but with this economy you got to hustle now.

About extra work in San Francisco

Extra work in San Francisco?
Hello, I am looking to earn some extra cash. I was just wondering if any one knew if San Francisco has any acting work for extras. I used to live in Southern California for 2 years and was part of background San Diego and LA extras. Thanks in advanced. Thanks for answering so quickly. Forgot to ask, does any of that cost money to join?

Answer 1 :
Yes; from time to time there is a movie filmed up here. I suggest you register with a couple of casting agencies that companies use for their extra casting. Nancy Hayes and SF Casting would be a place to start.

About what to wear to work in San Francisco

What to wear to work in San Francisco?
1. No need for formals. 2. What jackets can I buy for this spring+summer? The workplace atmosphere does not encourage business suits. The trend is more towards jeans, polos, tees and casual/dress shirts.
San Francisco - 1 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
A regular business suit in light wool would work.
Answer 2 :
Depends on what work you do. If you're in a business position, probably a suit and tie, real basic business attire. Although some places allow business folks to wear business casual if you don't have to see clients or otherwise represent the company to the outside world. Most tech places are more flexible and self-expressive. As far as keeping warm in winter, just wear stuff you can shed when you get to work (vest or sweater), scarf, trenchcoat, umbrella, gloves if it gets real cold.

Any one work at san francisco airport?
i live in modesto and wantto get a job at the airport. does anyone know if i can get a good full time job. i have a year of customer service and i have a high school diploma.

Answer 1 :
go to the website for the airport http://www.flysfo.com/web/page/index.jsp or go to the airport to terminal 2 on the departure level (second level) and go to the employment office ask a TSA officer where to find it cause the office is hidden, the building is the old international terminal so nothing is in it except all the FAA flight tower and airport operations which is way hidden upstairs

About how can I find office work in San Francisco when I'm in the midwest

How can I find office work in San Francisco when I'm in the midwest?
Monster and CareerBuilder are no good

Answer 1 :
Check the paper adverts online in the city you want to look for a job in.
Answer 2 :
Unfortunately your best bet is going to be to move there first and then start looking on the local papers (which are probably on-line). Most employers are not willing to pay relocation costs for someone to move and are hesitant to consider someone who is currently living out of state. The time and issues for people to move across country are a dis-incentive for a prospective employer when hiring a new person. (time off to move in, meet with movers, turn on utilities, close on a house or apartment)
Answer 3 :
try hot jobs, craigs list or check the ads in the SF papers. If you have any companies that you are interested in, check their web sites for job openings. You probably wont get anyone to pay relocation and you will have to add to your cover letter that you will be moving there and will be available to interview on a particular date.
Answer 4 :
www.craigslist.org for sfbay area there is a big jobs section... many posting, and also a place to post what you're looking for. it's a mainstay of job hunting here.
Answer 5 :
I'd tell you that these employers are probably looking at the address on your resume and wondering how much of an inconvenience it would be for you to get there. Unless they are paying for relocation, most employers shy away from long-distant job hunters, even if these job seekers attempt to "justify" that they are funding their own relocation. Try writing at the bottom of your resume that you're paying for your own moving expenses and see how that goes. If that's not successful, you might have to get someone's address there and use it to get the job or just move there and job hunt while you are there. Relocation can be challenging, do your homework before you decide to pack and move.

Where can someone in their 30s who is single and student work in San Francisco?
San Francisco - 1 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
what type of work? where in san francisco? in SF? or the bay area in general? age and marital status has nothing to do with employment. you being a student may limit your work hours/location because of your school commitment. but as a student you can look for co-op or internship positions which companies like to hire and train. try hotjob.com, monster.com or careerbuilder.com. also craigslist.org too. good luck with your job search!

Answer 1 :
Check out some of the job listings at the following website. There are alot of jobs in the San Francisco Bay Area - it just depends which area you want to get in on. Good luck!
Answer 2 :
I would suggest marketing yourself directly to ALL researched organizations in SANFRAN, staffing/consulting/outsource firms with recent placements in SANFRAN, outsource agencies in Taiwan, or global and domestic (US) firms with a presence in SANFRAN. Also, I wouldn't limit myself to a construction specific position, as your management and education terms are transferable to any industry with the correct marketing approach. Brainstorm - Q: which industries uses construction expertise - A: Any that don't want to use their computers in the rain

Bookstores where you can sit down and do work in San Francisco?
I really need to get some work done today and I am a chronic procastinator when at home. Does anyone know any bookstores where they have space where you can actually sit down and work, or other type of places where that is possible?

i would suggest the library rather than a bookstore. the sf main library at 100 larkin street is huge. there are study rooms on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floor.
